The Seven Bowls

Rev. 15-16

 The bowls of wrath: (part 1)

1. Painful sores will appear on the enemies of God. (2)
2. Oceans will turn blood, and everything living in them will die. (3)
3. Non-oceanic water will turn to blood, too. (4)

 Affirmation of God's actions being just: in verses 5-7.

1. The punishment will match the sin. (5-6)
2. The martyred will attest to the just judgment. (7)

 The bowls of wrath: (part 2)

1. The sun will burn people. (8-9)
2. Darkness will encompass the antichrist kingdom. (10-11)
3. The Euphrates will dry up. (12)

 Both sides will react:

1. Demons persuade the armies of the world to march. (13-14)
2. God will still be gracious to His own. (15)

 The bowls of wrath: (part 3)

1. An earthquake will happen, hail will fall, and islands and mountains will disappear. (17-21).

 The Main Point: God knows how to punish His enemies while protecting His own.
