2 Samuel 6:16-21

 Points:

1. David did something huge to honor God.
2. David danced and was despised.
3. David worshipped and was generous.
4. David tended to his family and was determined to honor God.

Application:

1. Sometimes, we are called upon to take great steps to honor the Lord.
2. We should expect persecution and setbacks in the process. 
3. All steps and setbacks alike cannot inhibit worship. 
4. We must tend to our church family and be determined to finish what we have started for the kingdom. 

 Next steps:

1. Be in prayer.
2. Be informed about the timeline of the project.
3. Be in agreement with God about your gift commitments.
4. Be ready to turn in your commitment card next week.
