The Purpose for Christ
John 1:1-9

1.      This child was more than just a baby. (1-3)
          a.       Jesus is the Word.
          b.      Jesus is God.
          c.       Jesus created everything

2.      This child gives life and is light. (4-8)
          a.       Jesus gives life.
          b.      Jesus is light.

The Purpose for Christ: Jesus Christ came to bring the truth of salvation to a spiritually dark and dying world.
